Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur

MNIT is one of the premier technology institutes in India, with Center of Excellence for Energy & Environment, promoting interdisciplinary research & development. The IAAD in partnership with MNIT shall offer short term Certificate Programs (CPs) and Management Development Programs (MDPs) with an objective to help build human resources at various levels to promote sustainable development in areas such as environment, energy, infrastructure and governance. In addition, joint research proposals and internship opportunities at IL&FS for students to work across the business verticals.



Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-Bombay)

Established in 1958, IIT Bombay was the first to be set up with assistance from UNESCO. In 1961 Parliament decreed the IITs as ‘Institutes of National Importance'. Since then, IITB has grown from strength to strength to emerge as one of the top technical universities in the world. Over the years, the institute has created a niche for its innovative short-term courses through continuing education and distance education programs.

Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA) at IIT Bombay is the principal partner of IAAD with joint development of training programs on Corporate Social Responsibility. The collaboration focuses on various IL&FS projects for the purposes of assessment, technology development and piloting. IAAD is assisting IIT Bombay in planning such a park on its campus with support of IIDC.



Administrative Staff College (ASCI), Hyderabad

Establishedin 1956, ASCI is the leading institution established to address capacity building needs of government and non-governmental agencies for practicing managers at functional and policy levels in government.

The collaboration focuses on offering short programs through the'CentreforEnergy,Environment, Urban Governanceand Infrastructure Development to provide policy advisory, training and capacitybuilding, consulting and knowledge support promoting action research in areas such as urban governance, energy, environment and infrastructure development.



Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB)

GPCB was constituted in 1974 as per the provisions under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, with a view to protect the environment, prevent and control the pollution of water in the state of Gujarat, The collaboration focuses on:

Conducting the training and capacity building programs for officers of GPCB. The topics of training will cover some of the frontier areas in the field of environmental governance, addressing both national and international contexts.The aim is to promote cleantechnology in the industries of Gujarat with development of technology and pilots focusing on energy and environment by involving a network of stakeholders. Gujarat hasaction plans in response based on Comprehensive Environmental Pollution Index (CEPI) by MoEF&CC. IAAD and GPCB will work together to facilitate implementation of these action plans.



Urban Mass Transit Company Limited (UMTC)

UMTC is India’s leading urban transport consultancy firm that focuses on developing sustainable urban mobility solutions. It is a unique partnership between the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) and Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited (IL&FS).

The collaboration focuses on capacity building in the design, development and implementation of sustainable urban transport;joint research projectsoffering innovative mobility solutionsand sharing of knowledge and global best practices related to urban transport sector.



Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA)

IICA, is an autonomous institute - under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, anda think tank that curates a repository of data and knowledge for policy makers, regulators, as well as other stakeholders in the domain of corporate affairs.

This collaboration focuses on promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by building capacities, providing services and knowledge to support Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Business Organizations (BOs). This is achievedthrough developing and implementing skills training programs, use of geo-databases, fostering knowledge sharing through networks and policy advocacy in the fields of joint interest for the benefit of the corporate sector in the country.



TERI University (TERI-U)

TERI-U has been set up as an institution of higher learning to meet the needs of a rapidly developing India. TERI-U is the first of its kind in India to dedicate itself to the study of environment, energy and natural sciences for sustainable development.

IAAD and TERI University have agreed to partner onvarious activities centred on Climate Change through research, consultancy, training & education, and policy advisory & advocacy. The partnership will synergize and leverage on the various education and training programmes and knowledge pool at TERI-U for furthering the positive outcomes onClimate change.



National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM)

NISM is an autonomous body under Securities and Exchange Board of India. It is engaged in capacity building among the stakeholders in the securities markets through financial literacy, professional education, enhancing governance standards and fostering policy research.

The collaboration focuses onofferingactivities of joint interest including promotion of sustainable finance and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) at financing institutions and companies by offering training, seminars, workshops and roundtables and developing publications.



Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD)

BIRD, is a premier institute providing training, research and consultancy services in the field of agriculture and rural banking in India.

The collaboration focuses on conducting training and capacity building programs for bankers from NABARD and other institutions working in field of agriculture, rural development and natural resource management, e.g. Regional Rural Banks, Co-operative Banks and Public as well as Private Sector Commercial Banks; Union and State Government Officials; Non-Governmental Organizations; and International Organizations to help enhance their abilities to evaluate projects on their environmental and social impacts.



Rajasthan Pollution Control Board

RSPCB, constituted in 1975, as per the provisions under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, with a view to protect the environment, prevent and control the pollution of water in the State of Rajasthan.

The collaboration focuses on: conducting the training and capacity building programmes for officers of RPCB. Developing programs that will promote technology innovation and pilots on environmental technologies in the state of Rajasthan.Facilitating implementation of action plans of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) in industries in Rajasthan. Facilitating training of CETPs/ETPs in the state for improving their efficiency.
